Ever needed to run an app while you are away from your computer? LaunchAway lets you schedule apps to launch automatically after a period of inactivity, or on a specified day and time. Helpful uses include:
• Running apps to act as an alarm clock or screensaver
• Performing backups periodically or during off-hours
• Launching apps as a reminder to yourself
• Executing AppleScript applications
LaunchAway can run in the background without a dock icon, and apps can be set to launch hidden. Apps can even be set to automatically quit when you return to your computer by using the helper app from the website.
